The Factory That Helped Drive Argentina's Pet Food Industry.
Our facility was established in 1961, and in 1978 it reached a historic milestone by producing Argentina's first extruded dry pet food.
Since then, we have continued to evolve while staying true to the same principles: providing nutrition with quality, responsibility and technology.
In 2010, production resumed under the Petfood Saladillo name, bringing together a strong team made up of professionals who had been part of the company from the beginning, alongside new talent that has joined over the years. This has been supported by continuous investment in machinery, innovation, and process standardization.
Today, we are an Argentine company with a global vision, combining a long-standing industrial tradition with a modern approach to pet nutrition.

HEPA and activated carbon filtration systems to reduce odors throughout the facility
Steam-based production processes with complete steam reuse
Photovoltaic renewable energy: capable of powering the entire plant on a sunny day
Noise reduction measures during sensitive hours
Recovery of fine particles generated during production
Equipment designed to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
